Steven Gerrard may have shown once again that he more than has the ability to make an impact in Major League Soccer with Los Angeles Galaxy, but his club made an embarrassing gaffe by spelling their marquee player's name incorrectly.
The former Liverpool man, who ended his long-running association with the Merseyside outfit last year, provided a wonderful assist for Giovani dos Santos as Galaxy earned a point away to San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday.
However, Gerrard was sporting a No.8 shirt that carried the name 'Gerrrard' on his back, which Galaxy's official Twitter account quickly made light of once the error was spotted.

Gerrard recently hinted that he could retire at the end of the current MLS season in order to rejoin Liverpool in a coaching role.
