John Arne Riise asked Steven Gerrard to sign a Liverpool shirt for his friend following the team's match against Fulham earlier this week.

The Fulham defender was spotted sneaking into his former team's dressing room on Wednesday to obtain the autograph, and later posted a photo of the moment on Instagram.

The 33-year-old claimed that the signed shirt was for his friend Kjetil Jansrud, who won a bronze medal in the downhill alpine skiing at the Winter Olympics.

Gerrard announced that he would send a shirt to the skier after he paid tribute to the midfielder following his medal-winning run.
