Match tickets for Steven Gerrard's final appearance at Anfield are reportedly being sold for almost £2,000.

The midfielder will call an end to his 17-year senior Liverpool career on May 24 away to Stoke City, but will take to the Anfield pitch for the last time against Crystal Palace on Saturday.

According to the Daily Mail, online ticket touts have hiked up the original price tags, which were between £37 and £49, and seats are being sold for as much as £1,985.53.

Gerrard will receive a guard of honour from his teammates and the Palace players prior to kickoff on Saturday, while supporters on the Kop will display a mural for the midfielder.
