Former Manchester United and Real Madrid star David Beckham has admitted that he prefers to watch rugby than football because there is less "nastiness" among the supporters.
Beckham spent 21 years of his life playing professional football before retiring in 2013, but has been seen on occasion supporting England's rugby union team at Twickenham.
In an interview with the Radio Times, Beckham said that watching live rugby is better because during a game the fans are "sitting together with no nastiness".
"I love rugby - I love watching it and I love the whole thing," said Beckham. "I have enjoyed going to Twickenham more than I have enjoyed watching football."
Beckham, who captained England, played for United, Madrid, Los Angeles Galaxy, AC Milan and Paris Saint-Germain in his football career.
