Anders Lindegaard has told Wayne Rooney that he has "shit banter" after the Manchester United captain described his former teammate as "annoying".
The England skipper said in a magazine interview that Lindegaard would be the last person that he would want to be stuck in a lift with.
In response, the goalkeeper took to Twitter to make fun of Rooney by uploading a picture of the striker in a questionable position on the football pitch.
Alongside the image, Lindegaard tweeted: "Thats why you don't wanna be stuck in an elevator with me lad? 😂@WayneRooney #happytoseeyoustillgotshitbanter."
The Dane spent five years at Old Trafford before joining West Bromwich Albion in the summer.
