Former Aston Villa manager Ron Atkinson has been approached to take part in Celebrity Big Brother later this year, according to reports.
The 74-year-old retired from football management in 1999, before becoming a television pundit with ITV.
However, believing that he was off-air, Atkinson was heard making racist comments towards Chelsea defender Marcel Desailly during a half-time broadcast, which forced 'Big Ron' to quit his role with the company.
According to The Sun, Atkinson has been offered over £100,000 to take part in the show.
Former footballer Neil Ruddock finished in fifth place in the last season of the show.
