Cricketer Andrew Flintoff has claimed that it would be "convenient" to go into the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here jungle because he is flying out to Australia in a few weeks' time.
The Lancashire all-rounder is 8/1 with bookmakers to enter the jungle amid rumours that broadcaster Michael Buerk is planning to walk out.
In Flintoff and Holcrast's latest podcast, the sportsman joked that ITV bosses chose him because they want a "like for like" replacement for Buerk.
"I'm tipped to go in the jungle," Flintoff said in the podcast. "It would be quite convenient because I'm going out in Brisbane in a couple of weeks. I don't know if they've focused on what type of person they want or they're hedging their bets."
Two celebrity contestants have already left the show before the public voting begins - The Only Way Is Essex star Gemma Collins walked out after three days, while actor Craig Charles gave up his place after learning about the death of his older brother.
