A German court has confirmed that it has accepted the offer of a $100m (£60m) settlement from Bernie Ecclestone to end his bribery trial.
The Formula 1 boss, who has been on trial in Munich since April, was accused of paying a banker a bribe over the sale of a stake in the sport in 2006.
It was confirmed earlier that the 83-year-old had agreed on a settlement fee with the court, and after a recess to discuss the settlement the trial has now ended.
Ecclestone has alleged that he made the payment to Gerhard Gribowsky after the banker threatened to make false claims about his tax status.
