John Terry has reportedly bought a new £4.35m property yards away from that of Wayne Bridge, the former teammate with whom he dramatically fell out in 2010.

Terry and Bridge had both been playing for Chelsea and England when it is believed that the former national team captain slept with Bridge's ex-girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel.

Bridge, who retired from football in 2014, infamously snubbed Terry's handshake during a game between Chelsea and Manchester City soon after the news came out.

Terry's new Surrey home, according to The Sun, boasts seven bedrooms and eight acres of surrounding woodland as well as a library, stables, tennis court and swimming pool.

The 38-year-old is currently assistant manager at Aston Villa, who return to Premier League action next Saturday at home to Brighton & Hove Albion.
