British heavyweight boxer Anthony Joshua has revealed that he gave food to two homeless people while visiting his hometown of Watford.
The 23-year-old will make his professional boxing debut this weekend when he goes toe-to-toe with Italian Emanuele Leo.
However, before getting into the ring, the Olympic gold medallist took a break from his preparations to help a couple of people living on the streets.
"I was walking to my car and saw a homeless guy I recognised from years ago and he was walking into a chicken shop," the Daily Star quotes Joshua as saying. "I saw the guy behind the counter say, 'No free chicken', so I walked in and said, 'What do you want?'
"I was walking further down the street and I saw another homeless guy, so I asked him, 'How did you end up here? He had no family, no place to live and had been living on the streets for nine months."
Joshua's fight will go ahead on Saturday at the O2 Arena in London.
