French media have reported that seven-time Formula 1 world champion Michael Schumacher has undergone a second brain operation after being involved in a skiing accident on Sunday.
Schumacher is in a "critical condition" after sustaining a head injury in the French Alps on Sunday, which resulted in the former German driver being airlifted to hospital.
The 44-year-old was said to be 'conscious but in shock' after the incident, but it emerged late on Sunday that the Formula 1 legend had been placed into a coma after requiring immediate neurological treatment.
A press conference will be held at 10am when an official update will be provided on Schumacher's condition.
