Tour de France winner Bradley Wiggins has remained in hospital today after he was involved in a collision with a van.
The Olympic gold medallist was kept in hospital overnight after a white Vauxhall Astra crashed into the cyclist while driving out of a petrol station in Lancashire yesterday
"Bradley has suffered broken ribs but the driver of the vehicle is not injured," BBC Sport quotes a Lancashire Police spokeswoman as saying.
Team Sky released a statement following the incident claiming that Wiggins is expected to make a "full and speedy" recovery.
