Curtis Woodhouse hunts down Twitter troll by finding his address

Curtis Woodhouse finds the address of a Twitter user, who verbally abused him following his boxing defeat at the weekend.

Former Birmingham City midfielder Curtis Woodhouse forced an apology from a Twitter user by hunting down the person's address.

The 32-year-old, who quit football to focus on a boxing career, was the subject of distasteful tweets from a user called @jimmyob88 when he lost in the ring at the weekend to Shayne 'The Pain' Singleton.

One tweet said: "retire immediately cant even defend a pathetic little title you are a complete disgrace #awfulboxer"

Woodhouse later responded with a photo of the user's address and the message: "right Jimbob I'm here!!!! Someone tells me what number he lives at, or do I have to knock on every door #itsshowtime."

The Twitter user backed down following Woodhouse's response by saying: "i am sorry its getting abit out of hand i am in the wrong i accept that."

Following the exchange, a number of sportsmen, including Marseille midfielder Joey Barton and retired boxer Lennox Lewis, commented on the controversy.
