Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly offers to pay for a baby's surgery in a bid to cure the youngster of a neurological disorder.

Real Madrid star Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly offered to pay for a 10-month-old baby's crucial surgery.

The family of Erik Ortiz Cruz is said to have been told that an operation is the only way to solve the baby's neurological disorder.

After learning that surgery could cost the family up to £50,240, Ronaldo is said to have stepped in.

It is believed that the Portugal captain was originally asked to donate a shirt and boots to a fundraising auction, but he decided to offer the funds to cover the hospital bills, according to the Daily Mail.

The youngster is said to suffer 30 epileptic fits a day.
