Mick Potter unimpressed with Bradford Bulls defending

Bradford Bulls coach Mick Potter tells his players that they must improve ahead of the trip to Saint Helens on Friday night.

Bradford Bulls coach Mick Potter has raised concerns over his team's defending following their 46-32 win over Castleford Tigers.

The Bulls ran out convincing winners thanks to the boot of Luke Gale and a hat-trick of tries from Shaun Ainscough.

However, with the trip to St Helens RLFC coming up on Friday, Potter was concerned by the ease with which Castleford ran in six tries of their own.

He said: "I was happy with our first-half performance although I probably wasn't happy with some of the defensive things we did.

"That needs to be addressed with a matter of urgency, although we haven't got much time given that we have the St Helens game on Friday.

"There are some things to address and we are coming up against a team who can play a lot of rugby and can put a lot of points on you."

Bradford would leapfrog Saints and move into the top half of the Super League with a win at Langtree Park.
