Pat Richards believes that Matt Bowen will prove to be a "great" addition to the Wigan Warriors from next season.
Bowen has agreed a one-year deal with Wigan, and will act as a replacement to Sam Tomkins, who will join New Zealand Warriors at the end of the season.
"He'll add a lot to the Super League competition, not just Wigan," Richards told BBC Radio Manchester. "Positionally, I think he's one of the best in the world. He's great on his feet and he's got a great pass on him. He'll be a great replacement for Sam."
The 31-year-old will move to the club following an 11-year association with North Queensland.
