Wigan Warriors head coach Shaun Wane is determined to put the memories of his side's heavy defeat against Castleford Tigers earlier this season firmly behind him when the pair meet once more this evening.
The Cherry and Whites were thrashed 42-12 in the reverse meeting at the Jungle in March, with Wane describing the occasion as the worst night of his career.
Wigan have improved drastically in recent weeks, however, winning seven of their nine fixtures since to move into the Super League's top three places.
"The defeat at Castleford is still hurting us badly so we'll be hoping to put that right," Wane told the club's official website. "They didn't see anything like the best Wigan performance, it was the worst one of my career, it's still haunting me that game.
"We just want Castleford to see the best of us and the way we've trained this week they will do that. We've hit a bit of form of late, our attack has been really good and our defence is improving. There's still lots of improvement but we are getting there."
Castleford travel to the DW Stadium on the back of just one defeat in their last five outings.
