Bath Rugby suffered a narrow 21-19 defeat to Toulouse in the European Rugby Champions Cup this afternoon, leaving them without a win in the competition so far this season.
There was little between the two sides in the first half, with a penalty and a drop goal from George Ford all but cancelling out an early Vincent Clerc try for the visitors.
Toulouse made the better start after the break, with Imanol Harinordoquy and Maxime Medard both adding tries to open up a 15-point advantage for the French side.
Bath did not give up though, and continued to apply pressure until Ross Batty forced his way over with just over five minutes to spare, leaving the home side just two points adrift.
Despite continuing to push until the final moments of the match, Bath were unable to set up another points-scoring chance, leaving them with the narrow loss.
