Saracens full-back Alex Goode believes that he deserves a place in England's lineup for their third Test against South Africa on Saturday.
The 24-year-old was called into the squad to make his full debut against the Springboks this weekend and believes that he can regularly beat out the likes of Mike Brown and Ben Foden to the starting spot.
"You've just got to keep knocking with good performances really," ESPN quotes Goode as saying. "I believed if I played well, year on year, game on game, then consistency would favour me.
"I put in some good performances with the Saxons as well and was always optimistic in that regard. Luckily on this tour I kept working, even with Browny and Fodes playing really well. I kept working and my chance has come."
Meanwhile, Danny Care returns to the team following his axe from the Six Nations squad and has insisted that he won't take it for granted.
