New Zealand too strong for England

New Zealand score two second-half tries to secure a 24-21 win over England at Twickenham in the Autumn Internationals.

A strong second-half performance from New Zealand gave the All Blacks a 24-21 win over England in the Autumn International at Twickenham this afternoon.

Jonny May sprinted for the line early on to give the home side an early lead, but it was soon cancelled out when Aaron Cruden stretched over for the All Blacks.

Owen Farrell ensured that England were ahead at the break though, kicking three penalties for Stuart Lancaster's side, while Cruden added a further six points with the boot for the visitors.

New Zealand found a gap down the left flank early in the second half, allowing Richie McCaw to power his way over for the world champions.

Dane Coles had a spell in the sin bin for the visitors, but England could not make the most of their numerical advantage.

Charlie Faumuina seemed to have put the result beyond doubt in the final 10 minutes when he raced over for New Zealand's third try of the game, leaving them 10 points up.

The hosts were awarded a penalty try late on, but it came too late for England to launch a comeback.
