Scotland coach Andy Robinson has backed his side to beat England in their must-win World Cup Pool B encounter this weekend.
The Scots have to beat the old enemy by eight points or more to advance to the quarter-finals, a feat they have achieved in every tournament to date.
"It's the next challenge for me. It's a great challenge to have,” Robinson said.
"The players are really excited. There's a really good buzz around the side, not just because we're playing England, but because of the challenge that's there.
"What you look for in any Test match is winning the Test match and that's what we're going to focus on. We can't get over worried about the scoreboard."
Scotland last beat England by eight points in 1986 and have only beaten them four times since.
