Ireland have thrashed Samoa 40-9 in this evening's Autumn International at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
Paddy Jackson got the hosts up and running with a kick from the tee in the fifth minute, but Tusi Pisi levelled the score three minutes later.
It was proving to be a scrappy affair, as Jackson edged his country back in front before Peter O'Mahony crossed the line to make it 11-3.
Pisi's kicking was all that was keeping the visitors in the match, as he once again found the mark to eat into the deficit.
However, Jackson made it 14-6 before half time after George Pisi had been penalised for a tip-tackle on Tommy Bowe, and Sean O'Brien stretched the advantage seven minutes after the break.
Dave Kearney darted into the corner in the 65th minute, and victory was wrapped up with two tires in eight minutes from Fergus McFadden.
