Castleford Tigers head coach Daryl Powell has said that Kevin Sinfield will be a "target" when he makes the switch from rugby league to rugby union later this year.
The Leeds Rhinos captain announced that he will join Yorkshire Carnegie at the end of the current Super League season in a bid to win promotion to the Aviva Premiership with the club.
Powell, who made Sinfield captain during his spell in charge of Leeds, told BBC Sport: "It's certainly a challenge. You look at Sam Burgess and what he's going through, and Iestyn Harris, it's tough. It's not an easy thing to do. The one thing you do have is a bit of a sign on you, on your head. You're a bit of a target."
Sinfield retired from internationals last year.
