Dai Young hails "phenomenal" Wasps support

Dai Young admits that he may have to re-evaluate his side's aims for the current season after seeing Wasps move back up to fourth place this afternoon.

Wasps head coach Dai Young has challenged his side to make their new Ricoh Arena home a "fortress" this season in order to claim a top-four spot in the Aviva Premiership.

A 37-6 win over Harlequins in front of 16,000 fans earlier today saw Waspies climb back up to fourth place in the standings.

Two penalty tries in the second half helped them on their way and, following the triumph, Young admitted that he may have to begin rethinking his aims for the campaign.

"At the start of the season, I didn't think we were a top-four side," he told Sky Sports News. "Our goal was to finish in the top six but the league is so close. If it goes our way we could finish fourth but you could easily finish 10th.

"To get a crowd like today is phenomenal and we really enjoy playing here. We want to make the place a fortress. Winning helps, but we are fully aware of our responsibility."

Wasps find themselves sitting two points below Saracens in third place, while the same margin separates them from seventh-placed Leicester Tigers.
