Rhys Priestland will undergo a scan after sustaining an achilles injury in the Heineken Cup.

Rhys Priestland was stretchered off in Scarlets' loss to Exeter Chiefs in the Heineken Cup this afternoon after suffering an Achilles injury.

Aaron Shingler and Samson Lee also picked up knocks during the match.

Scarlets head coach Simon Easterby told Sky Sports News: "[Priestland] has got an Achilles injury. We won't know the extent of that until he has a scan. But it didn't look good.

"Aaron Shingler suffered a groin injury and he's been carrying that for a couple of weeks. Hopefully he will come through but that didn't look great either."

Priestland's injury could also affect Wales, with the start of the Six Nations tournament less than two months away.
