Dan Lydiate is expected to miss Wales's Autumn internationals after suffering a broken ankle.

Wales flanker Dan Lydiate is expected to miss his country's Autumn internationals following a serious ankle injury.

The 24-year-old was forced off just minutes into Newport Gwent Dragons' RaboDirect PRO12 victory over Edinburgh on Friday night.

Early reports have suggested that he has broken and dislocated his left ankle.

Lydiate will undergo surgery on Sunday before what should be a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
