Andries Pretorius agrees to join Worcester Warriors

Worcester Warriors sign Cardiff Blues back row Andries Pretorius from next season.

Andries Pretorius has agreed to move to Worcester Warriors at the end of the season.

The Wales international will leave Cardiff Blues to join the Aviva Premiership strugglers.

"I have loved my time at Cardiff Blues. I will continue to give Cardiff 100% until the end of the season. My focus will then turn to Worcester," Sky Sports News quotes the 28-year-old as saying.

Worcester's director of rugby, Dean Ryan, added: "I am delighted that Andries has chosen to join the club as we build for the future to become a competitive force in the Aviva Premiership.

"Andries has a proven track record, so we look forward to welcoming him to Sixways in the summer."

The South African-born back-row joined Cardiff in 2009.
