Defending champion John Higgins has claimed that his second-round exit to Stephen Hendry at the World Championship was the worst that he has played at the tournament.
After ending the opening session 5-3 behind, Higgins then found himself 12-4 down at the end of play on Friday in what was the pair's first meeting at the Crucible.
Seven-time winner Hendry then clinched the decisive frame early on Saturday to condemn his fellow Scot to defeat.
"It was really bad," Higgins told BBC Sport. "That second session was probably the worst I have played at the Crucible. I missed a chance to win the opening frame and from then on, it was torture."
Hendry will now face Stephen Maguire for a place in the semi-finals.
