Stephen Lee in match-fixing charges

Former world number five Stephen Lee will attend the independent tribunal body Sports Resolutions as he fights to save his snooker career.

Stephen Lee will attend the independent tribunal body Sports Resolutions in Bristol on Tuesday as he fights match-fixing charges.

The charges relate to matches from 2008, including one in the 2009 World Championship.

The former world number five has been suspended for nearly a year. The hearing in Bristol is the result of an internal investigation by the WPBSA's integrity unit after the Crown Prosecution Service dropped the case.

Lee denies the charges but could get a financial penalty or a life-time ban if found guilty.
