Ronnie O'Sullivan wins Champion of Champions title

Ronnie O'Sullivan retains his Champion of Champions title after registering a 10-7 victory over Judd Trump.

Ronnie O'Sullivan has described his victory over Judd Trump in the final of the Champion of Champions event as "one of the best matches you'll see".

In a final where six century breaks were recorded, O'Sullivan withstood a fightback from Trump to successfully defend his title with a 10-7 victory in Coventry.

The 38-year-old told ITV Sport: "I was happy to be involved in one of the best matches you'll see.

"I just played as well as I could. I would like to say well done to Judd as he had a great tournament."

O'Sullivan's next target is likely to be the UK Championship, a tournament which he hasn't won since 2007.
