Judd Trump eases past Ding Junhui to reach World Championship semi-finals

Judd Trump confirms his place in the last four of the World Championship with a 13-4 victory over third seed Ding Junhui.

Judd Trump believes that he will become world champion if he can continue to produce the form that earned him a 13-4 victory over Ding Junhui in the quarter-finals.

After opening up a 12-4 lead, Trump returned on Wednesday morning to win the one frame that he required, and the third seed is targeting a similar performance in his semi-final encounter with either Ronnie O'Sullivan or Stuart Bingham.

The 25-year-old is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "If I play like I did, then I won't get beaten.

"To keep that up for another five days is going to extremely hard. This tournament is all about consistency. I have to keep doing it."

Trump reached the final of the 2011 tournament before losing to John Higgins.
