Arsenal injury, suspension list and return dates for Crystal Palace: Tierney, Rice, Calafiori

Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.

Bidding to make London derby lightning strike twice against Crystal Palace, Arsenal head to Selhurst Park for a rapid reunion with the Eagles in Saturday evening's Premier League tie.

The Gunners edged out Oliver Glasner's men 3-2 in Wednesday's EFL Cup quarter-final thanks to a Gabriel Jesus hat-trick, surviving a late scare when former flame Eddie Nketiah headed in a late response.

Punching a ticket to the semi-finals was the perfect tonic to back-to-back Premier League draws against Fulham and Everton, which have left Mikel Arteta's men third in the top-flight table, six points behind Liverpool having played a game more.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Arsenal's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their showdown with Palace, who occupy 15th place in the mid-season standings.

Kieran Tierney

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Cramp
Possible return date: December 21 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Kieran Tierney made his first Arsenal appearance in a year and a half during the EFL Cup quarter-finals before going off with cramp in the second half, but that should not impact his availability for Saturday's derby.

Declan Rice

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Knock
Possible return date: December 21 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Declan Rice picked up a niggle in the draw with Everton at the weekend and subsequently sat out the cup success, but that was more to give the Englishman a well-earned rest, and he should make a swift comeback on Saturday.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Muscle
Possible return date: December 21 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Oleksandr Zinchenko is still struggling with the muscular injury he sustained before the Fulham game, and there is ostensibly only a slim chance that he will be fit to take part at Selhurst Park.

Riccardo Calafiori

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: December 21 (vs. Crystal Palace)

Similarly, caution is being exercised over Riccardo Calafiori, who is on the mend from his second knee injury of the season and is highly unlikely to make the cut this weekend.

Ben White

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

One of two long-term absentees in the Arsenal medical bay, Ben White is recovering from keyhole surgery on a knee problem, and it will be a few months before the right-back can take to the field once more.

Takehiro Tomiyasu

Status: Out
Type of injury: Knee
Possible return date: Unknown

Takehiro Tomiyasu only just made a complete recovery from one serious knee injury before picking up another, and there is still no indication when the Japan international might return.

ARSENAL'S SUSPENSION LIST

Arsenal have no players suspended for this match, and second-choice goalkeeper Neto is available again after being cup-tied for the midweek game.
