Jack McLoughlin has won the final individual swimming gold of the 2018 Commonwealth Games to continue Australia's relentless run of success in the pool.
The 23-year-old led from the front in the men's 1500m freestyle final but was forced to hold off the challenge of Wales's Daniel Jervis in the closing stages of the race.
The gold is Australia's 26th in the pool and, coupled with a bronze for Mack Horton, their 71st swimming medal of the Games - both tallies that are expected to rise in the women's and men's 4x100m relays later this evening.
McLoughlin took an early lead in the race and never looked like surrendering it on his way to a time of 14:47.09 - more than a second clear of silver medallist Jervis.
It looked for much of the race as though another Aussie one-two was on the cards, but Horton - gold medallist in the 400m and silver medallist in the 200m freestyle events - faded away towards the closing stages to complete his set with a bronze.
McLoughlin, meanwhile, adds the gold to his 400m freestyle silver, with Australia enjoying yet another medal-laden night at the Optus Aquatics Centre.
