Siobhan-Marie O'Connor, Hannah Miley through to 200m individual medley final

British swimmers Hannah Miley and Siobhan-Marie O'Connor will race in the 200m individual medley final at the World Swimming Championships in Russia.

British duo Siobhan-Marie O'Connor and Hannah Miley have both secured a place in the 200m individual medley final at the World Swimming Championships in Kazan.

O'Connor, who is the British record holder at the event, finished second in her semi-final, which saw her through in second overall.

Miley went in the second heat, and her time of 2:11.19 was enough for seventh, ensuring that she will join her teammate in tomorrow's race for the medals.

Hungary's Katinka Hosszu set the fastest time again, breaking the European record with a time of 2:08.84, almost two seconds quicker than O'Connor.
