Swimmer Victoria Arlen has been permitted to compete at the Paralympics tomorrow, despite initially being ruled out for being 'not disabled enough'.
The American teen, world record holder in the 100m and 400m freestyle, was left in a vegetative state for two years after being struck down by a spinal cord disease in 2006.
On Monday she was reclassified and deemed "ineligible" to compete, but has now won an appeal and will compete in the S6 event on Saturday.
Arlen will face British rival Ellie Simmonds, who suffers from dwarfism.
