Italy's Carlo Molfetta has clinched the gold medal in the heavyweight division of the men's taekwondo by defeating Anthony Obame of Gabon in a dramatic final.
Obame stormed to a 6-1 win in the opening round, but Molfetta snatched the second 2-0 to keep himself in contention.
The Gabonese looked on course for the gold when he led 9-4 in the third, but the Italian rallied to level the bout at 9-9 and take it into a sudden death round.
With both fighters failing to score in the deciding round, the judges' decision went Molfetta's way.
China's Liu Xiaobo and Robelis Despaigne of Cuba picked up the bronze medal.
