Roger Federer 'very happy' with Milos Raonic scalp

Roger Federer says that the crowd at the O2 Arena helped him through his victory against Milos Raonic.

Roger Federer has expressed his delight following his 6-1 7-6 victory over Milos Raonic in the ATP World Tour Finals in London.

The Swiss said that he was "very happy" with his performance during the match, and credited the crowd at the O2 Arena with helping him through.

"I was very happy with the way I performed. Thanks for the ovation. It definitely gave me energy," he told reporters.

"The second set was much tougher. I don't think he played the best breaker. We have a tough group here."

Federer has won the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals a record six times in three different cities.
