Roger Federer slams security at French Open

Roger Federer criticises security at the French Open after being approached by a fan at the end of his match with Alejandro Falla.

Roger Federer has hit out at security at the French Open after a fan made his way onto court at the end of his match with Alejandro Falla.

After wrapping up a routine win, Federer was approached by a fan requesting a selfie, but the Swiss was less than impressed by the efforts of stewards at Roland Garros.

The 33-year-old is quoted by PA Sport as saying: "I'm not happy about it. Obviously not for one second am I happy about it. It happened yesterday in practice too. It's just a kid, but then three more kids came.

"Today, on centre court where you would think is a place where nobody can come on, he just wanders on and nothing happens."

Federer will play Spain's Marcel Granollers in the second round.
