Can you name every French Open men's champion since 1968?

Sports Mole challenges you to name every French Open men's champion since 1968.

The 2024 French Open will not be fondly remembered by all - whether it be the adverse weather conditions or a spate of controversial umpiring calls - but for one 21-year-old Spaniard, only pride will be present.

Carlos Alcaraz had already conquered the hard courts at the 2022 US Open and the grass at Wimbledon 2023 before bidding to complete the surface set at Roland-Garros, where reigning champion Novak Djokovic had to call it quits early due to a knee injury.

Even with the 24-time major winner out of contention, Alcaraz still had to come through a mammoth semi-final with Jannik Sinner to earn a final scrap with Alexander Zverev, seeking his first-ever major honour.

Despite falling 2-1 down in the match, Alcaraz fought back in the manner of a history-making champion to prevail in five, becoming the first man to win each of his three major titles on all three surfaces and the youngest male player to do so in the Open Era.

To celebrate the Spaniard's triumph and the successes of those before him, Sports Mole challenges you to name every French Open men's champion since 1968.
