Agnieszka Radwanska beat Dinah Pfizenmaier 6-3 6-4 to ensure her French Open campaign would continue at Roland Garros.

Fourth seed Agnieszka Radwanska has booked her spot in round four of the French Open with a straight-sets victory over Dinah Pfizenmaier on Friday evening.

The Pole was matched shot-for-shot by her 21-year-old opponent in the early stages and was even broken by the German.

However, Radwanska managed to break Pfizenmaier's serve on two occasions to win the crucial first set 6-3.

Radwanska grew in confidence and started to dominate the longer rallies as she looked to quickly secure her passage into the next round.

Pfizenmaier battled valiantly in the closing exchanges but was unable to prevent herself from crashing out of the tournament as her rival claimed a 6-4 set victory to secure the win.
