The Pole raced into an early lead, but was suddenly broken twice and found herself behind for the first time.
However, she fought back with two breaks of her own to take the first set 7-5.
The second started well for both players, although Radwanska was broken again to fall 3-2 behind.
However, again she showed her determination and immediately broke back, before confirming a 7-5 6-3 victory.
