Kyle Edmund has moved into 43rd place in the ATP world rankings as a result of his performances at last week's Shanghai Masters.
The British number two came through two qualifying matches and beat Federico Delbonis in the first round before succumbing to Stanislas Wawrinka in the last 32.
Despite the defeat to the world number three, the 21-year-old has now moved above 1,000 ranking points for the first time in his career but he is still over 300 points from breaking into the world's top 32.
Edmund is back in action in Antwerp this week where he will play Ukraine's Illya Marchenko in the first round.
