Novak Djokovic breezes into the last eight of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships with a resounding 6-1 6-2 win over Andrey Golubev.

Novak Djokovic has sailed into the quarter-finals of the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships with a straight-sets win over Andrey Golubev.

The top seed was dominant during the opening set, breaking serve twice on his way to clinching it 6-1.

Djokovic then overwhelmed his opponent again in the second as he closed out the contest 6-1 6-2 with just over an hour on the clock.

The Serb will face either sixth seed Feliciano Lopez or qualifier Marsel Ilhan for a place in the last four of the tournament.
