Andy Murray defeated world number 26 Feliciano Lopez in straight sets to advance to the last 16 of the US Open.
In his first night session of the tournament, Murray eased a 6-1 6-4 6-2 victory over his Spanish opponent.
The 24-year-old made it through the first set without dropping a point on serve and broke off unforced errors in the second set.
The Briton then broke to love early in the third before seeing out the match in under two hours, a far cry from his five-set battle with Robin Haase in the second round.
Murray goes on to face US wildcard Donald Young in the next round.
