After a disappointing first half to the year, Radwanska has enjoyed a fine grass-court campaign and that continued during the first set on Court Three.

The two players shared four breaks of serve in the first 10 games, but Radwanska managed to strike for a third time to take the opener.

Jankovic was having some joy on her opponent's serve, but she was struggling to hold her own, leaving Radwanska with the chance to serve for the match at 5-4.

The Pole quickly fell 0-30 behind before reeling off four successive points to continue her fine run at SW19.
