Team England triathlete Jodie Stimpson has revealed that the course at the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games is suited to her hard-working style.
Stimpson, 25, said that missing out on a medal in the London Olympic Games in 2012 has given her extra motivation to impress for England in Glasgow.
"It's a workers' course, which is exactly how I prefer it," she said. "My preparations couldn't have gone any better. I'm just excited to get out there now. It's my first major Games and it's pretty special.
"It will be brilliant to represent Team England in front of my friends and family. Having missed out on the Olympics I'm doubly determined to be up there and fighting for a medal."
Stimpson won silver at the World Championships last year.
