Murray Buchan: 'Half-pipe course looks tough'

Great Britain freestyle skier Murray Buchan admits that the half-pipe course at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park looks difficult ahead of his first run at the Winter Olympics.

Great Britain freestyle skier Murray Buchan has admitted that the half-pipe course at the Rosa Khutor Extreme Park looks "tough" for the athletes.

Conditions at the Winter Olympics have been criticised and there has been several injuries on the course. However, Buchan is hopeful that it won't be of an issue when he competes.

He told the Edinburgh News: "I skied it but looking at the pipe it looks tough. It looks as though there is a lot of soft snow at the bottom and two ridge lines down the side, so fingers crossed that they manage to sort it out."

Buchan gets his campaign underway in the half-pipe later today.
