Great Britain's Lamin Deen: 'Top-20 finish will be difficult'

Great Britain bobsleigh pilot Lamin Deen says that it will be "difficult" to break into the top 20 in the third run this afternoon.

Great Britain bobsleigh pilot Lamin Deen has said that it be "difficult" for him and brake-man John Baines to achieve a top-20 finish in the two-man competition.

Deen and Baines are currently ranked 23rd ahead of the third run, and are 0.55 seconds behind the Monaco team, who occupy the final qualifying place in 20th.

"It will be difficult, but that's bobsleigh and we have to try," Deen told BBC Sport.

"We've made some improvements and the experience we're getting out on the track will be a massive help come the four-man event."

Team GB will have to break into the top-20 in the third run at 2.30pm today to qualify for the fourth run.
