Canadian luge advert trivialises anti-gay stance

The Canadian Institute of Diversity and Inclusion produces an advert which trivialises Russia's anti-gay claims.

The Canadian Institute of Diversity and Inclusion has trivialised Russia's anti-gay stance with a light-hearted advert.

It shows two men on a luge at the beginning of the course thrusting in slow motion to the Human League song, 'Don't You Want Me'.

The advert ends with the quotes: "The games have always been a little gay. Let's fight to keep them that way."

Russia has come under criticism for its stance towards gay people, with their president, Vladimir Putin, warning gay people against "influencing" children.
