The Arizona Cardinals have said that they are willing to continue with quarterback Kevin Kolb.
Since signing the 28-year-old in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2010, Kolb has struggled with a series of injuries.
Team president Michael Bidwell told the Cardinals' website: "I'm not ready to give up on Kevin Kolb yet.
"That's one of the questions we will really focus on with the coaching staff candidates. How do we see about Kevin and his performance and how we can turn him into the quarterback of the future here for the Cardinals and make that decision, if he is the right guy?"
Kolb missed the end of this season through injury.
The Cardinals sacked Ken Whisenhunt following the conclusion of the 2012 regular season.
